Registration information

Registration categories

These categories are defined as follows:

Registration are finalised and paid in full on or before 1 August 2005.
This registration fee allows the conference delegate the following:

• attendance of the full conference, including refreshments provided,

• a copy of the Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings, and

• the welcoming cocktail.

Note that delegates must register and pay separately for accommodation, social events and the Grand Conference Dinner.

This is the regular conference registration to be paid in full before the conference date.
This registration fee allows the conference delegate the following:

• attendance of the full conference, including refreshments provided,

• a copy of the Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings, and

• the welcoming cocktail.

Note that delegates must register and pay separately for social events and the Grand Conference Dinner.

This conference registration is provided to groups of 5 (five) or more persons of the same organisation. The group registration fee then applies to all the members of the group. Group registration fees must be paid together and in full before or at the latest on the last day of SSeptember 2005 to ensure the discount and the places.

This registration fee allows the conference delegate the following:

• attendance of the full conference, including refreshments provided,

• a copy of the Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings, and

• the welcoming cocktail.

Note that delegates must register and pay separately for social events and the Grand Conference Dinner.

This conference registration is provided to spouses and children of registered conference delegates. The accompanying person registration is to be paid in full before the conference date.

This registration fee allows the accompanying person the following:

• attendance of the full conference, including refreshments provided, and

• the welcoming cocktail.

Note that accompanying persons must register and pay separately for social events and the Grand Conference Dinner. Accompanying persons, who might be interested, may order copies of the Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings at additional cost.

Note that a limited number of bursaries have been made available for delegates from Africa. Delegates from African Countries may apply before 31 July 2005 via the Conference Secretariat for a bursary to attend the conference. This bursary will contribute R1,400 towards the conference fee. If the bursary is allowed, the delegate must pay the difference of R2560 to the conference secretariat before or on 30 August 2005 to qualify for the reduced fee.

This arrangement and sponsorship is in line with an important conference objective, namely to promote mLearning in Africa. To achieve this objective, the Conference Organisers decided to allow sponsored attendance for delegates from Africa.

All conference delegates are required to register and pay separately for the Grand Conference Dinner. The Grand Conference Dinner promises to be a very special and memorable experience. An event not to be missed. The Conference Organisers also envisage an optional Social Event for one of the evenings during the conference.

Details regarding the Conference Dinner and Social Event, including the costs involved, will soon be available on the conference website.

Requests for cancellations of registration must be in writing. Delegates cancelling before 31 September 2005 will forfeit 50% of their registration fee. No refunds will be considered after this date.

Arrangements for and costs of accommodation are for the personal and private arrangement of each delegate.

Various other social events are envisaged. Details and fees for these events will be made available on the conference website in due course and when available.
